Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every product and website operated by Gone Coding Ltd. Each paid product also has its own terms, which cover how that product works.

1. Who we are

Gone Coding Ltd. is a company registered in Hong Kong, at Unit 1603, The L. Plaza, 367-375 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Gone Coding Ltd., and "you" means the person or organisation using our products.

You can reach us at contact@gone-coding.com.

2. These terms and product terms

Each paid product has its own terms, which form part of your agreement with us:

Where a product's own terms say something different from these terms, the product terms apply for that product. By creating an account or paying for a product, you accept these terms and that product's terms.

3. Business use

Our paid products are sold to businesses for business use. By subscribing you confirm that you are acting for a business and not as a consumer, and that the person accepting these terms is authorised to do so on that business's behalf.

4. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping sign-in details safe, and for the people you invite into it. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.

You are responsible for any credentials, keys or systems you connect to a product, and for making sure you are allowed to connect them.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law that applies to you or to us, including data protection and export rules
  • use a product against systems, domains or storage you do not own or have permission to use
  • interfere with a product's operation, security or availability, or work around its limits
  • resell or make a product available to others except as its own terms allow

6. Fees, billing and taxes

Prices are shown on each product's website. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period stated there, and payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Each product's terms set out what you are billed for, such as the number of users, and how changes during a period are handled.

Prices exclude any taxes you are responsible for, including taxes due under a reverse charge mechanism. All fees are non-refundable unless the product's terms say otherwise or the law requires otherwise. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Trials

Where a product offers a free trial, its length and what happens when it ends are set out in that product's terms. We may change or withdraw trials for new customers at any time.

8. Cancellation, suspension and termination

You can cancel a subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect as described in the product's terms. If payment fails or a subscription ends, access may be restricted or suspended as those terms describe.

We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the security of a product or its other users. We aim to give notice where we reasonably can.

9. Your data and connected systems

You keep ownership of your data and of anything you store in systems you connect to a product. You grant us the rights needed to operate the product for you, such as processing and transmitting that data. Each product's documentation and privacy policy describe what it accesses and for how long records are kept. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

10. Our intellectual property

The products, their software, interfaces and content are owned by us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them while your subscription is active. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works from them except where the law allows it.

11. Third-party services

Our products work with services run by other companies, such as storage providers, certificate authorities and payment processors. We are not responsible for those services, their availability, or the fees they charge you directly.

12. Service levels and changes

We work to keep our products available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service unless a product's terms say so. We may change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you.

13. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, our products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Reports, scans and other output are informational, and you remain responsible for decisions you make based on them.

14. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to a product is limited to the fees you paid us for that product in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your use of a product, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give notice by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use a product after that means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a product's own terms provide otherwise.

18. Contact

Questions about these terms: contact@gone-coding.com. For help with a specific product, write to its own support address: contact@sslboard.com or contact@quicks3.com.
